A-Kon 2009
I'm home from a-kon, and it was really fun. My friends and I dressed as characters from The World Ends With You (and a random caped girl due to the fact one of my friends refused to dress up at all.) If you saw Beat, Minamimoto, and a Reaper, that was us! I took some pictures, but they are kinda blurry.
Things my friends and I did:
+ went elevator jumping
+ updated pin collection
+ yelled I lost the game and were glowered at
+ danced Caramelldansen
+ got kicked out of watching cosplay (no standing room my ass)
+ held a free hugs sign
+ got hugs without free hugs sign
+ were told we could get sued for carrying a free hugs sign
+ had approximately 8 pictures taken
+ ate japanese cheetos (or whatever those were)
+ wanted to find a new group of people to hang out with because my friends are too weird
Next up, Animefest! I'm most likely going solo (maybe go with my sister?) I want to go in costume again, but I'm not sure who. if you guys have ideas, I'd love to hear them!
